Noah Daniels is a current junior who has been at Carmel since the sixth grade and says he has “enjoyed every year.” When asked about what he enjoys most about Carmel, Daniel stated, “I love the teachers here. They really do love the students. They want to help them be their best.” In addition to the teachers, he also recognizes the special environment that Carmel has. “I also like the environment here, it is a good Christian school with a good Christian environment,” Daniel says.
Outside of the classroom, Daniels is a talented tennis player and has been playing tennis since he was nine years old. He plays every day for two-to-three hours through clinics, private lessons and competitive tournaments. Daniels plays competitively every month of the year and has also been a member of the school’s tennis team in the spring.
Daniels has won the most improved player award twice and says that those were some of his greatest accomplishments as a player. His improvement as a player was impressively revealed last year as he advanced from being the fifth best to the second best player on the team. Daniels also says that defeating one of Charlotte Latin’s top seniors last year was a tremendous accomplishment in his tennis career.
Pertaining to his future, Daniels is excited to look at colleges and explore what he would want to do or become later on in his life. Getting the interest of college coaches for tennis is also an important aspect of Daniels’s future that he is looking forward to.
Whether through tennis, school or other activities, Daniels is embracing his time here at Carmel while still anticipating the great opportunities that lie ahead.
