Reily and Rose Anderson are a well-known duo at Carmel Christian school. The two have attended Carmel for the majority of their lives. Reily is graduating this year as an Alpha Omega student, and Rose is currently a junior. The two are just over a year apart in age, specifically 14 months. The sisters are close-knit and they have grown to recognize how blessed they are to have grown up together.
Growing up, their closeness in age allowed Reily and Rose to act almost like twins. Reily explains that, “Rose and I were raised like twins. Our mom even dressed us in matching outfits. We did everything together.” They spent a majority of their time together when they were younger.

The two also grew up extremely close with their cousins, Luke and Anna Foster, and have always lived right down the street from them. This allowed them to not only grow closer to one another, but it also allowed them the chance to create strong bonds with other family members as well. Anna and Reily have also always been a dynamic duo at Carmel Christian. The cousins enjoy being in the same grade and same school to spend even more time together
Reily and Rose had many different activities that filled their childhood. They loved to play outside, ride their bikes, ride scooters and ride penny boards throughout the neighborhood. They also enjoyed playing with their American Girl dolls, singing and dancing. Rose explains that, “One of my favorite memories of my childhood with Reily would be our shared birthday parties with our family and friends. Also, I remember being so excited when Reily and I decided to share a room before we moved into our new house.” Reily agrees with Rose and adds on, “Rose and I also used to do something so funny. We used to write songs and raps together and then perform them for our parents. We would also make artwork and try to make our grandparents pay for it.”

As the two sisters grew older, their relationship changed and grew into a deeper, stronger bond. They spend equally as much time together as they did when they were younger, and they still hold similar interests.
The two both play soccer and volleyball. They also enjoy laying out by their pool, shopping, going to the gym together, going for late-night ice cream runs and dressing up to go out to dinner. Although Reily and Rose have separate friend groups, are in different grades and have separate hobbies, they are fairly similar and have plenty of opportunities to spend quality time together.
These sisters both admire so many different qualities about one another. Reily explains that, “I love how bubbly and giggly Rose is. I love that I can call her my best friend because she always lifts me up and brings me joy.” Rose states, “I love how similar Reily is to me and how she can practically read my mind. I also love how caring and sweet she always is to me. We’ve always been best friends.”

With graduation fast approaching, Reily has decided to attend Samford University and study exercise science with hopes to eventually pursue a career in physical therapy. Rose expresses how proud she is of her sister, and although the two will miss one another in the coming year, they don’t plan to be apart for long. Rose plans to follow along in her sister’s footsteps and attend Samford University with a major in nursing.
Reily and Rose Anderson are not only sisters, they are each other’s best friend. Anna Foster, a senior and cousin to the sisters, states, “I have loved growing up with Reily and Rose, and having them as like sisters to me. The three of us have always been inseparable and they are always so encouraging and always there for me no matter what!”
Reily and Rose Anderson are a brilliant representation of how siblings should look out for, love and care for each other throughout every part of their lives.
