Braden Miller

Braden Miller

Braden Miller is a junior here at Carmel Christian school. Miller has been a member of the Carmel Community since 9th grade. Miller was born in New Haven, Conn. but he moved to Charlotte when he was 4 years old. Miller has enjoyed growing up in Charlotte, as he says there are plenty of adventures and  fun things to do growing up in Charlotte.

Miller loves to do plenty of activities outside of school. He enjoys hanging out with his friends and practicing for in his swimming career. He has been swimming competitively for the school since 9th grade, but has been swimming outside of school since his 6th grade year. Though Miller loves the competition of swimming, he does not want to continue his swimming career in college.

Miller prioritizes his friendships and spending time with his friends. They enjoy swimming together, hanging at someone's house or going to a shopping center on the weekends. Miller also has a job at the Jewish Community Center as a lifeguard at the pool. He uses the skills he has gained from swimming on the school team to help him be the best lifeguard he can be.

Miller has many passions outside of school, such as listening to music and enjoying various foods. His favorite artists to listen to are Kanye West and Travis Scott. There has not been one singular moment in his life that stood out in terms of being proud, but he is just proud of his growth throughout his high school career.

After graduation, Miller is looking to possibly attend UNC Wilmington to study something in business with the hopes of a successful career and great family. Miller joined The Blue and Gold after his time in Media and Journalism I. He not only enjoys the classroom environment with his fellow staff writers and being led by Miss. Muir-Taylor, but he also is eager to produce engaging and exciting content.
