Fall is a beautiful, activity-filled time of the year, and here in Charlotte, that is no exception! The weather is finally cooling down, the leaves are changing hues and the fun fall-themed festivities that you won’t want to miss have finally begun. From pumpkin patches and hayrides, to fall festivals and football games, there’s always something going on, and it’s the perfect time to connect with friends and family.                                                                     🏈 CCS High School Fall Function 🔥

The CCS Student Government presents an exciting night filled with fall festivities for grades 9-12th. Fall Function will be starting at 7:00 P.M in the parking lot. Inflatables, firepits, food, and special activities will be provided throughout the night. Prior to the event, the championship Powder Puff game will be held at the baseball fields. Make sure to come before to cheer on the top two teams!

Enjoy a night out at Scarowinds – the Halloween-themed adventure by Carowinds theme park. Scarowinds is a fun event for all ages who enjoy being spooked! You can ride the rollercoasters in the theme park or enjoy some of the Halloween activities!

 Pro Tip: Go early in the season to avoid massive crowds. Lines can get long for the Haunted Houses in late October.

Amazing Maize Maze @ Rural Hill 🌽

Visit one of the largest Corn Mazes in the southeast and test your ability to solve a life-sized puzzle! The Amazing Maize Maze at Rural Hill is over 7 acres and the perfect way to get out and about this fall season!

They’re currently open Tues – Thurs for timed entries of 10 AM or 4 PM (advanced tickets required). They’re also open Fri-Sun from 10 AM – 5 PM, and you can enter anytime throughout the day. In October, they have Late Night Mazes from 6:30 PM – 9 PM.

Pro Tip: Purchase your ticket in advance to ensure availability!

🍂 Renaissance Festival🕯

Travel back to the Renaissance age by visiting the “Village of Fairhaven.“ This festival brings to life the magic of the Renaissance with jousting knights, arts and crafts, Artisan markets, fairies, mermaids, dragons and so much more!

Football and fall go hand in hand, so it makes sense to experience a Panthers Football game this fall! The Panthers play at the Bank of America Stadium which is in the heart of Uptown Charlotte. Carrigan Farms transformed their 275 farm into a Haunted Trail in October that is perfect for those who enjoy a good scare! Fair warning, this is not for the easily frightened, as they go all out with their decor!

Pro Tip: Reservations for this event are required, so make sure to book this in advance!
