James Harakas, Assistant Editor
James Harkas, a writer and editor for the CCS Blue and Gold, is ready to leave his mark on the school before departing for college.
James, a senior this year, is looking forward to a bright future. He plans to study anthropology and business as he takes his education to NC State University in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Besides preparing for college, he has been engaging in multiple other extracurricular activities. This being his third year running cross country, James has since been promoted to captain, where he leads his team to victory in meets. Additionally, James engages in other sports such as basketball and soccer.
Having taken Journalism I last year, James is looking forward to continuing his writing career as a member of the student news and honing his skills as he moves forward into the next chapter of his life.
When he’s not crafting stories, James can often be found around his friends, both in and outside of the classroom.
